inevitable creation - an attentive listening to inner realms,
where what is to be created assumes shape.
Sounds emerge from the noise, shapes come into being, become pictorial,
vivid, branch out and develop. Thus a spherical expanse opens up,
comparable to a place where gestures and movements of
a stage production are hinted at. Music wants to underline the effect of the images,
to convey them, but not to comment on them. Both art forms take flight,
gliding over landscapes of contemplation and lived intensity,
leading to a colorfully ringing panorama of human creativity."

"...Stock's new solo CD "The Black Muse"
documents a striking development of her musical language.
Her natural sensibility gives rise to landscapes that play with influences
from the tradition of Western heritage as well as with Far Eastern soundscapes
and electronic set pieces.
Her own compositions create a spatial atmosphere with sequences originating
from dream scenarios. She uses the sound possibilities of the harp in a new way.
Reverberating tapping and glissando-like circling of the strings imply a space-opening effect.
